This Privacy Policy explains how ShiftInbox ("we", "us") handles information when you use the ShiftInbox iOS app and this website at shiftinbox.codemxm.com. ShiftInbox is designed as a privacy-first, on-device schedule tool. shiftinbox.codemxm.com.
ShiftInbox Schedule Data Stays on Your Device
ShiftInbox reads schedule screenshots, PDFs, text, and ICS files using on-device Apple Vision OCR. Parsing, diff comparison, conflict detection, and local storage happen entirely on your iPhone. We do not operate a server that receives your employer schedule content.
Information ShiftInbox Does Not Collect
ShiftInbox does not require an account. We do not collect names, email addresses, or employer schedule data through the app. Telemetry and crash-reporting SDKs are disabled in the current release—we do not send usage analytics to third parties.
Apple System Permissions
Calendar access: ShiftInbox requests full calendar access only when you choose to sync approved shifts. It creates, updates, and deletes calendar events you approve, and stores a private logical ID in event notes for precise future updates.
Photo library access: ShiftInbox reads photos you select for import. If you enable screenshot detection (Pro), it scans for new screenshots to suggest imports. Photos are processed on-device and are not uploaded.
Purchases and App Store
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. RevenueCat may be used to validate purchase receipts. We do not receive your payment card details.
iCloud Sync (Pro)
If you enable iCloud sync (Pro), your ShiftInbox data is stored and synchronized through Apple CloudKit under your Apple ID. We do not operate a separate cloud backend for your schedule data.
Feedback Email
If you send feedback via email, your message and any diagnostic details you choose to include (app version, device model, iOS version) are sent directly to hi@codemxm.com. We use this only to respond to your request.
Website Analytics
This website may use privacy-friendly analytics (such as Plausible) to understand page visits. The marketing site does not process your schedule data.
Children's Privacy
ShiftInbox is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
